Window Install Siding

Install siding at the top of a window or door in a similar fashion but this time set the siding on the window channel and use the window trim to mark the cut.

Install vinyl siding over the window. Center the new window in the opening supporting it with wood blocks and shims placed below the horizontal jambs. Extract nails keeping the vinyl pieces in place in order to prepare vinyl pieces to be removed. Also if the windows are of different sizes it gives the contractor a chance to make some custom changes so the window will fit properly.

This is an install that was completed on a house with wood. Do not cut the vinyl off.
